Why do I keep loosing things?

Winter caching is hard; something I will wrote more about in another entry.  But I seem to keep dropping things quite often when I go on caching trips.

In Linköping I dropped my first geocache note book (paper, not computer) somewhere near "Walking the Dog". I have also lost one TB at some cache, probably will turn up when the snow melts.

When I was to Egypt I put two extra batteries in a pocket of my shorts when going to El Gouna. Not a good idea to keep things there. I suppose I should be glad I haven't dropped more stuff.

During the last month this defect seem to have accelerated.  At the event in Katrineholm I lost the head set to my phone. During an excursion to Finspång I lost my second note book (and with that some mysterie solutions and other stuff).

Couple of days later I was to Söderköping, and climbed a hill looking for the cache with the same name; I noticed that the strap to the Garmin GPS had somehow disappear. Fortunately it must have broken instead of bringing the GPS with it, so I still had the GPS in the pocket. (During planned weekend trips I usually wear special pants, but now I wore normal ones, so I had not tied the strap to my belt.)

Finally, during an evening trip to Valdemarsvik, I had put a reflection tape around my arm, and I probably got teared away as I tried to go through a forrest. (Bad idea during winter, if only nordic skiers go that way.)

Phew.  Wonder what next loss will be?  The smart phone or GPS?  I guess this is a problem I will have to live with as I do most caching by buss/train, so I will have to carry all the needed equipment around at all times.
